Sally and Phil had a very plain chipped area at the front of the house and tired decking at the back.

We replaced the chippings at the front with mixed slate and constructed a raised bed for interest directly outside the window.

We left an earth area at the direct front for planting interest and privacy and a trellis was placed on the side wall.

We removed the decking at the back and this was replaced with black slate.

Raised beds and steps/seating area were constructed with black slate and brown stone.

The area was planted with unusual, rare interest.
