Here was a terrace of old decking that needed replacing with a solid surface. 

The old decking was removed and replaced with hard core to retain the level.

Jane keeps bees so a honeycomb design was incorporated into the slate terrace.

Reclaimed red tiles were used as the edging of the terrace and steps.

Jane had some old patterned tiles that she had collected on her travels so we used these on the front and sides of the barbeque.

She also had an old fireplace 'kicking around' the garden and this was used as a feature for the front of the barbeque. 

Raised beds were made in front and at the side of the terrace with reclaimed stone.

Planting complimented the existing planting in the garden.
